Bright P-12 College Fun Run
The Bright Fun Run is not just a race, it’s a full-blown community celebration held in one of the most stunning corners of Victoria! Since 2011, this awesome annual event has brought together locals and visitors for a morning of fitness, fresh air, and feel good fundraising for Bright P-12 College. We are 100% volunteer powered! That’s right, this event is made possible by the hard work, big smiles, and community spirit of a dedicated team of volunteers.

2025 Wrap Up!
Bright brought the magic for the 2025 Bright Fun Run, turning on a perfect autumn show! 400 runners hit the trails and tracks under blue skies and golden leaves, it was pure high country goodness from start to finish! DJ Beauy had the beats pumping, the energy was sky-high and the smiles were even bigger!
The morning kicked off with the tough 18km HVP Plantations Trail Race, a true mountain challenge that saw plenty of determined faces. Next up, the 8km Beatson Builders Trail Race brought out the speedy crowd, followed by the fast and friendly 3km Sixpence Coffee Trail Run, perfect for families, first-timers, and future trail legends.
The little ones stole our hearts with the Kids' Novelty Races, lots of laughs, wobbly sack races, and some serious egg-and-spoon skills on display!
In the feature events at the 2025 Bright Fun Run, James Barnett and Sarah-Jayne Miller took out top honours in the challenging 18km HVP Plantations Trail Race. In the 8km Beatson Builders Trail Race, Alec Franzke and Tory Thomas claimed victory, while the speedy 3km Sixpence Coffee Trail Run was won by Theo Gray and Matilda Xerri. It was a fantastic display of talent across all distances, with plenty of local faces shining on the day!
Off the trails, the Foresight Village was buzzing! Sixpence Coffee kept everyone fuelled, the Bright P-12 team served up a sizzling BBQ and tasty bake sale treats, while kids (and big kids!) enjoyed temporary tattoos, yard games, and fun giveaways thanks to Community Bank Bright.
We’re thrilled to say that 2025 has been our most successful fundraising year since the Bright Fun Run returned three years ago! Whether you sprinted, strolled, skipped or cheered, you helped make the day unforgettable. Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and the entire Bright P-12 College community, this event just keeps getting better!
