Bright P-12 College Fun Run
The Bright Fun Run has been bringing our community together since 2011 and has become a much-loved event on the local calendar. More than just a race, it’s a fun, community-focused fundraiser for Bright P-12 College, set against the spectacular backdrop of Bright in North East Victoria.
Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a challenge or simply looking for a great day out with family and friends, there’s something for everyone. Kids and beginners can enjoy the shorter distance, while those looking for more of a challenge can take on the longer courses through the beautiful trails around Bright. No matter your pace, it’s all about getting active, enjoying the outdoors and supporting a great cause.
Our community continues to show incredible support for the event. In 2025 we raised over $25,000 for Bright P-12 College, and in 2026 we’re raising funds specifically to deliver wellbeing and mental health programs for students across the school.

This year there will be a requirement to carry some mandatory gear for the 9km and 18km. Your safety is important to us. Please see below for what you should be prepared to carry:
Early Bib Collection:
Available on the top basketball court at Bright P-12 College Saturday 26th April between 3.00pm and 5pm

- Novelty games for all ages from 9am
- 3km starts 10am

- 1L capacity of liquid storage 18km | 500mL capacity of liquid storage 9km
- Fully charged smart phone 18km and 9km
- Snake bite bandage 18km and 9km
- Waterproof jacket 18km
- Space blanket (recommended) 18km
