Everest Sports 3k Trail Run Course Map
This course is designed for the kids. Prizes to be awarded to child participants only. We would love for adults to run/walk with their child if they are under 6 years old. No adult registration required for this race if participating with a child under 6.
You can register now.
This is our one course that we also encourage you to register to walk if you aren't a runner. The scenery is beautiful and you will still have a fun time walking this course.
The 3km trail course is a sensational way to get a taste for Trail running and a great way to show kids (and some adults) what an amazing sport it is. It starts with a dash across the school oval and up into the Huggins trail network where the course changes from the grass of the oval into dirt of the trail. In this section the trail is wide and well defined. Once at the turn 1.5km mark a Marshall will guide runners onto some beautiful single trail. This is where our young runners will get the opportunity to really enjoy how special the trails can be. From here we have a small climb for runners to head up and then a fast, fun a flowing decent back down to the finish line. This course is deigned to really showcase the best of trail running in a short course form. Hopefully this is what gets kids out running for years to come. Please note this course will be well marked and Marshalled.
